Res Rustica: A meal in 79 A.D.

Do you are a Foodlover?

If you are curious to discover more about the ancient roman diet and why in Italy exist a so incredible variety of local products and recipes this is the exhibition for you!

From 21th November untill  the middle of February 2019 you can enjoy the temporary exhibition ” Res Rustica” at MANN (National Archaeological Museum in Naples).

You can see a typical ancient roman table assembled with two thousand old vegetable relics coming from the vesuvian archaeological ruins, understand more about the commercial routes that traversed the Roman Empire, and also have a much more clear idea about why the italians are so passionate of food!
